Terms and Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Nollywood Masterclass services, owned and operated by Kreative Station Nigeria Limited (Company No. 1901553).
Acceptance of Terms
By registering, purchasing, or accessing any services on the Nollywood Masterclass platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and any other policies or guidelines posted on the site.
Ownership
Nollywood Masterclass is a brand and digital platform owned and operated by Kreative Station Nigeria Limited (Company No. 1901553). All business transactions, agreements, and legal responsibilities in Nigeria are held by this entity.
Payment and Billing
Payments are processed through third-party platforms. For local Nigerian payments, we use Paystack, which processes transactions directly for Kreative Station Nigeria Limited. For international payments via Stripe, all funds are initially received by Deo Media Limited (Company No. 15426752), a company in the UK that acts as our international merchant of record. This is a necessary part of our payment infrastructure and ensures compliance with international payment regulations. By making a payment, you consent to this process. Kreative Station Nigeria Limited and Deo Media Limited share a common company director but are distinct legal entities.
If you opt for a subscription (e.g., quarterly or yearly), you agree to recurring payments charged automatically to your chosen payment method until you cancel. You are responsible for keeping your payment information current.
Use of Content and Intellectual Property
All course materials, including videos, scripts, and production materials, remain the intellectual property of Nollywood Masterclass and/or its instructors. The watch hours and user engagement data are the exclusive property of Nollywood Masterclass, which reserves the right to use this data to calculate instructor compensation and for business analytics. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or share any content for personal, non-commercial use without written permission.
Participation and Conduct
We reserve the right to remove any participant who disrupts the learning environment or violates community guidelines, without a refund. Participation may involve live sessions, recorded content, or in-person events; attendance and engagement are your responsibility.
Job Board
The Nollywood Masterclass Job Board is a platform for job seekers and employers to connect. We act solely as a venue and are not a party to any agreements between users. We do not screen, endorse, or guarantee the quality of any jobs, projects, or applicants. We are not responsible for any disputes, damages, or liabilities that arise from interactions or transactions between users of the Job Board. Users agree not to post false, misleading, or illegal content. We reserve the right to remove any post that violates these terms.
Payouts to Masters
Instructors on the platform are compensated based on the watch hours of their content by paying subscribers. The specific compensation formula is outlined in a separate agreement between Kreative Station Nigeria Limited and each instructor. Payouts are subject to a payout schedule and minimum threshold as defined in their individual contracts.
Liability
Nollywood Masterclass is not responsible for:
Technical issues beyond our control (e.g., internet outages).
Personal outcomes or unmet expectations.
Third-party platforms or services used during classes.
Changes, Cancellations, and Service Interruption
We reserve the right to reschedule, postpone, or cancel masterclasses. We may also replace instructors if necessary. Participants will be notified promptly, and alternatives will be offered where applicable.
Service Interruption: In the event of a verifiable, platform-wide technical outage lasting more than 24 hours that prevents access to a significant portion of the paid content, we will automatically extend the subscription of all affected members to match the duration of the downtime. This is our primary and most immediate form of redress.
However, in compliance with Nigerian consumer protection laws, customers retain the right to request a financial refund instead of the subscription extension. All such requests must be submitted in writing to our support team and will be processed according to our Refund Policy.
